IIT BHU, officially the Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi, is a premier engineering and technology institution in India. Established in 1919 as Banaras Engineering College, it evolved into the Institute of Technology (IT-BHU) in 1968 and later became an IIT in 2012. Known for its excellence in science, engineering, and technology, IIT BHU is part of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology.
